twitter revampOn Monday 13th january, Twitter announced that it will be rolling out another new look for your home page.

It is designed to look more like its iOS and Android apps.

The new layout has only been tested with 1% of users to date, but will be offered to all eventually.

You will see that there is now a white navigation bar at the top, your header picture will move over to the left column and the “Compose new Tweet” sits under this. This is designed to encourage people to not just browse other people’s tweets, but to get involved.

The Direct message icon is changing slightly.

It will also be possible to add an accent colour to your page: https://twitter.com/twitter/status/422841285339131904.

The main Twitter feed is as it was before.

Twitter said they have chosen the look as 76 percent of Twitter users use mobile devices to log onto their account. The new PC version is therefore designed to look familiar to all those who mainly use the mobile and tablet apps.
