A six-page website for a counsellor moving to France and wishing to promote her services. This is a brochure website, designed to be used in conjunction with off-line marketing.
Counselling in the French Alps contacted us seeking a website to advertise their services in France.
Planning a move to the French Alps, they were keen to promote their counselling and pyschotherapy services and to give the practice a tangible presence even before the move took place. This would allow them to establish links with directories and professional bodies and begin to create trust in their services.
They had a very clear idea of how they would like the site to look and in particular, wanted to use a beautiful picture of the French Alps as the background to their website.
Having talked through all their design requirements, we built a 6-page site which is simple, but stylish. Using a complete image as the background for a site is not without its difficulties. It only works where the text area is kept relatively small and so fitted this site well as content is minimal.
The only page with fairly long text areas is the frequently asked questions page and so to keep the page height as short as possible, we used an accordion effect so that only sections of text are visible at one time.
