Case Study One: Custom Search Facility for a Property Letting Agency

A local property management and letting agency required a custom scripting solution to provide a search facility for properties on their letting register.

We created a "Find a Property" search which allows visitors to search by :

  • House or Flat
  • Number of Rooms
  • Minimum or Maximum price
  • Location / area

 

In addition, the search may be filtered to sort by:

  • Price - ascending
  • Price - descending
  • Number of bedrooms - ascending
  • number of bedrooms - descending
  • Area / Location
  • Property type

The client has a simple-to-use online admin console which enables them to add property details themselves and to upload photos. The styling of these details is applied automatically to ensure that the company brand is maintained throughout.

Case Study Two: Bespoke scripting to permit interaction between a manufacturer's website and a retailer's site

Premier Appliance World

For Premier Appliance World in Peterborough, we created a sophisticated, custom-built database. Premier Appliance World sells kitchen appliances direct from the manufacturer, Electrolux. Bespoke scripting enables Premier's website to query the manufacturer's own website database and so to offer accurate delivery time options, stock availability and prices to visitors to Premier Appliance World. Secure online payment facilities mean customers can buy their chosen appliance through the Premier Appliance World website and have it delivered direct from the manufacturer at a time of their choosing.

There are only 3 websites in the UK which query the Electrolux database in this way: Currys and Miller Brothers and Premier Appliance World.
