Useful for 'scrambling' the mailto link on your website in
order to thwart Spambots.
- Type in the mailto link in its normal form in the first text
box
- Click the button to encode
- Copy the generated code from the second text box into the html
code of your web page, replacing the existing code for the 'mailto'
link. If you have carried out the procedure correctly, the email
link will appear unchanged when previewed in a browser window, but
a 'view source' of the underlying html will reveal a whole host
of numbers and hash symbols, confirming that your 'mailto' link
has been disguised.
