On its official blog, Google is promoting a new adwords service aimed at small businesses called Adwords Express.

It is designed for businesses who have not used adwords before and are nervous about setting up a campaign and managing it themselves.

All a business needs to do is sign up with basic details and create an ad. Google offer to manage the campaign automatically for you. They will decide which searches should result in your advert being displayed. They also claim to optimise your advert to get the most out of your budget.

Learning to create and manage your own Adword campaigns is the best option as only you really know your business and the way you want it to be presented. However, as a way to dip your toe in the water, this is one option!
